Social is a major part in Rotaract and events are organised around whatever the club feel like getting up to! Eating out and drinking is always a big favourite and other events include cinemas, clubbing, gliding, trips to London, the list is endlist. To see what we have been up to recently and are planning in the future please click on the 'Events List' icon to the left of the screen and an Excel spreadsheet will open displaying our events list.

District events are also organised where we meet up with other Rotaract clubs.

Some recent social events have included a night out to a casino, the summer ball, BBQs, meals out, cinema night, various pub nights and a quiz night with other Rotaract clubs in the area.

SMEG

"SMEG" is a little bear that is given to the person who has said or done the most stupid thing since the last meeting. Nominations are given at the end of each meeting and club members are allowed to vote as many times as they like, with as many arms and legs as they want! Each nominee gives a small donation to the charity fund.
Some nominations have included:

• Washing a car using a scourer.
• Eating Olive Pips thinking they were peanuts.
• Getting in the passenger seat of the wrong car that was parked outside a railways station.
• Shaking a bottle of coke and then opening it and wondering why the contents shot out of the top.
• Waiting for people outside the wrong entrance of a pub.
• Buying an electric lawn raker thinking it was a lawn mower.
