Helping the community is a big part of the Rotaract club and we undertake various events throughout the year, in particular the "Read to Ray" rota. Ray is a blind man that members of the club visit each Tuesday to read newspaper articles to. At each club night a rota is passed around by the community officer and members of the club are encouraged to sign up.

Community can cover a whole range of activities and of course what we do each year is dependant on what we are asked to do and what the need is, whether it is organising a street collection, helping the aged or painting a school fence.
