We are an organisation based in Chelmsford committed to helping the local community whilst having fun. All you need to join is to be aged between 18 and 30 and enjoy taking part in social events combined with community and fundraising tasks. If this sounds like you then Rotaract is worth a try. It will also give you the opportunity to meet people and get involved with something different.

We currently have 35 members that have a variety of interests. Each month we have 2 formal meetings where the committee and all the other club members get together to share ideas, and decide what social events to take part in and what community and fundraising work to organise.

We hold one major fund raising event a year and also take part in other sponsored and charity events.

Chelmsford Rotaract has a full and varied social calendar and at least once a week an event is planned. This can include all sorts of things such as pub nights, the cinema, meals out and clubbing. The club is also very enthusiastic about their commitment to charity and the community.

There are 4 clubs in the Essex District (called District 1240). These are Chelmsford, Brentwood, Colchester and Clacton.
